I just saw this story online about a promotion called “Hoodslam” that operates in California. It basically uses pro wrestling as the basis for a show that is purely entertainment. They don’t try to make people think it’s real and they kind of poke fun at pro wrestling while at the same time performing it because they love doing it.
It’s an interesting concept and it looks like it is a lot of fun. It make me think of Chikara if Chikara was even sillier than it is now (that is if Chikara is even still in business).
