5 Questions With…
This time we feature “The Zombie Princess” Jimmy Jacobs courtesy of ROH, S.C.U.M. and himself. I don’t need to go into detail about where Jimmy has wrestled because it would be easier to list where he didn’t! He’s one of the “been there, done that” kind of performers because he has! To the questions:
1.) Which wrestler made you want to get into the business?
“Undoubtedly, Mick Foley. When I was 14 years old watching him fall off the top of the steel cage and before that he did an interview segment with Jim Ross. Remember that? With Mankind talking about sucking down the worms? That was totally me in high school or grade school…both!”
“B.J. Whitmer. The toughest guy I’ve ever been in the ring with. B.J. and I have beaten the stuffing out of each other a lot and he always pushed me to my limits no doubt.”
3.) What was your greatest match?
“My greatest match has yet to occur, It’s coming to a city near you at some point. I have favorites of mine, one’s I like. I don’t know if I could pick like a greatest one. A cage match with B.J. Whitmer a few years back that people point to as one that they like so I’ll take that one.”
4.) What was your worst injury?
“I tore my ACL in my left knee and I partially tore my meniscus so that always feels good to this day. I had surgery on that in ’07 so that’s no good.”
“I was hoping to sell some more merch on the way in and at the end of the show but those plans have just been like kaboshed by the fans that haven’t bought my stuff. After that, pack up my car and go to a hotel, I hope. Then a ten hour drive home after that, then next week South Bend, Chicago, Toronto. So the plans are to keep on keepin’ on-on the hamster wheel I’ve been on for the past 15 years going from town to town, cities like this, wrestling in front of fans like you!”
